We are extremely delighted to share the incredible success of our recent donation campaigns at Bodhipeet NGO and Sukanya Home in Salt Lake, Kolkata, that was conducted by Shivam Yoga Centre! With the generous contributions from our students, friends, and well-wishers, we were able to make a significant contribution in igniting joy and bliss and spreading immense happiness and warmth amongst the inmates of Bodhipeet NGO and Sukanya home during this festive season of Makar Sankranti.
On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, which was January 17th this year, Shivam Yoga Centre provided a hearty meal to around 100 inmates at Bodhipeet Home. The smiles and happiness on their faces were truly priceless, reminding us all of the profound impact of collective kindness, compassion and generosity. The delicious food was a heartfelt treat, made possible by the thoughtful donations of our supportive community.
But the joy didn’t stop there! With the remaining donations, we also extended our goodwill to the festive spirit of Christmas, arranging a special lunch for around 300 inmates at both Bodhipeet Home and Sukanya Home during the Christmas season in 2024 last year. Seeing the festive cheer among the inmates as they enjoyed their meals was a moment of pure bliss for everyone involved.
Many of our devoted members and students from Shivam Yoga Centre actively participated in these special charity events. Their presence added warmth and a personal touch to the celebrations, making them even more auspicious and more memorable.
